I chose the Unihabitable Earth as one of the three available options for the Penguin Student award. My design is based around chaos theory due to the theme of the book evolving around the chaos caused towards the climate and Earth. For the 2020 Penguin student book cover design competition, I chose 'The Night Manager', by John le Carré. My outcome is a simple and minimalistic design that plays on the blood of the violent tone through the book whilst also playing with the idea of spilled wine for the hotel manager role the protagonist plays.
